I love this guy and i think he loves me back and i would adore it if he put his arm around me on a first date. Some girls, though, like my best friend, would hate it. Look for signs like what she wears - is she into looking hot, or just her classy covered self. If it's going well i think you should make smaller moves, like touching her hand gently while reaching into the popcorn and look at her reaction. Her position too, where shes leaning. I would say be brave, but caution. If its all gone well, i think that she would appreciate it.
